"Back on track"

Composed between 1/01/94 - 3/16/96 with MultiTracker Module Editor, and converted to FastTracker2.

This would be considered my first XM, but I only converted it and fixed it up fractionally.

This song has no purpose and no plot. It is barely a song. It is very, very short. I don't know if you've ever started a song and then didn't get back to it until two or more years later... it is hard to go any farther with it. You lose the concept and the original spark that made it.

Why distribute it if so short? I like bootleg Cds because sometimes you can get a few demo gems that the musician didn't like and never distributed. I have in mind a song that I like almost better than the officially released album version; the demo had the same lyrics and totally different music. (I'm rambling?) My point is: some people might like it. So why not let them have it? I like it, regardless of its lack of length. Your choice whether or not it is worth the download.

Back on track... am I? Not at all. But it is nice to pretend that things are going smoothly... sooner or later you'll start to believe yourself...
